2-3 mile guided hikes in the High Country (if children are very young we can accommodate a shorter hike as needed)
Drinks and picnic supplies provided on all hikes. Trail mix and minimal snacks included.
Dates and times will vary, flexible to fit your needs. Typically hikes are available for weekdays only. If the burros are not booked for special event on a weekend they can go hiking!
Kids are welcome! 1 adult per child 1 years old to 6 years. Infants welcome, but not included in the count. Trails are stroller friendly.
$50 deposit to reserve your hike for a specific date. Balance due the day of the hike, before hike begins
If it is raining we can push back the time of the hike, or reschedule for another day.
Option for Catered Lunch - please request for more details. (not available for Moses Cone Hikes)

Where to meet and logistics
Moses Cone Hikes: All hikes begin at Bass Lake in Blowing Rock. From main Street in Blowing Rock, turn onto Hwy 221, continue for 1/2 mile to the Bass Lake entrance. The Burros will be waiting there.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled hike time to load the burro packs with any necessary personal items.
What to bring
Wear proper hiking attire and shoes. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash (the donkeys are use to dogs).
